Microsoft's Xbox Kinect system, which allows a player to operate a game through body movement and without holding a controller, started life by providing gamers with a means of virtual skiing or caring for virtual pets. Soon, however, Microsoft will launch a Kinect SKD for PC, allowing creative minds to put it to all sorts of new and interesting uses.
